Seniors' Head Coach
Debbie Hallas
Debbie is a true trailblazer at Oldham Netball Club. Beginning her journey in the club’s very first junior team, she has grown into its longest‑serving member and one of its most influential figures. Progressing through the senior ranks, she captained Oldham from National League qualification through five tiers of the Premier League, ultimately leading the squad to Division One.
In 2011, following the passing of legendary coach Mike Greenwood, Debbie made the transition from player to coach, taking charge of the Premier League and senior squads. Her leadership has ushered in an era of unprecedented success, with Oldham winning 12 of the last 14 Premier League Division One titles since 2012 — a record that cements her status as one of the most successful coaches in the competition’s history.
Beyond her coaching achievements, Debbie is a prominent figure in the wider netball community. She is the founder and Managing Director of Netball UK, the country’s leading netball retailer, and a shareholder at Manchester Thunder. Her passion, vision and commitment continue to shape the future of the sport and inspire generations of players coming through Oldham Netball Club.
